2Definitions

• "Platform" means the ScalpSense AI application and associated services providing AI-powered scalp and hair analysis.
• "Report" means an AI-generated output, including scalp health scores and hair loss assessments.
• "Clinical Review" means an optional assessment by licensed professionals.
• "Free Tier" and "Paid Tier" mean the respective access levels described in section 4.

3Eligibility and registration

You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform. Accounts belonging to minors are terminated immediately upon discovery.

You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4The service, fees and payment

The platform offers a Free Tier and one or more Paid Tiers. The Free Tier includes a basic scan and daily tracker. Paid Tiers unlock deep follicular density reports, historic progression charts, ingredient compatibility checking and personalised routines.

5Nature and limitations of the AI analysis

A Clinical Review does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. You should consult a qualified medical professional before acting on any Report, and you must not delay seeking medical advice because of anything the platform tells you.

6Your obligations and acceptable use

You must submit genuine, unaltered images either of yourself, or of another person whose explicit written consent you have obtained.

6.1 Prohibited conduct

• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity;
• Submitting images of minors;
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling or otherwise attempting to derive the platform's algorithms;
• Using the platform or any Report for commercial resale or redistribution;
• Interfering with the security or integrity of the platform.

7Intellectual property

We retain ownership of all platform content, algorithms, models and Reports. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use Reports for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

8Data protection

Processing of health data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform you consent to processing for the purpose of generating Reports and improving our AI models, subject to the consent controls described in that policy.

9Disclaimers

10Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of the platform, and any action you take on the basis of a Report without professional medical verification.

12Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts without notice for breach of these terms or suspected illegal activity. Termination, whether by you or by us, does not trigger a refund of fees already paid.

13Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

14Minors

The platform is strictly prohibited for users under 18. Any account discovered to belong to a minor is deleted immediately.

15General provisions

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in respect of the platform. We may amend them, with the updated effective date posted to this page. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
